The only way Etsy or any other marketplace will know that your hat is of that style is if you type it in your listing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Make sure to mention any unique designs on your hat as well. Did you use bobbles or cables? Did you emulate a design from a character, such as this Cthulhu hat<\/a>? If you were searching listings for your hat, what would you type in to describe it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also, include the color and the size of the item. Use a sizing chart (or link to one) if necessary. That way, people will know before they complete their purchase if the item will work for them. Use descriptive words throughout your listing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
What Will the Item Be Used For?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Write out how your knitted item will be used. Paint an image for your customers so that they automatically visualize it and will be more likely to purchase it. If there are special uses or multiple uses, list those so that they will show up for unique searches. <\/p>\n\n\n
